This page describes the cookies and similar technologies used by Business Black Box, and why.
1. Authentication cookies
When you log in, our authentication provider (Supabase) sets first-party session cookies (typically named with an "sb-" prefix) in your browser. These cookies keep you signed in and let the Service verify who you are on each request. They are strictly necessary for the Service to function — without them, you could not stay logged in.
2. Analytics
We use Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to understand aggregate site usage and performance (for example, how many people visit a page, and how fast pages load). We have not added any advertising or marketing tracking pixels to the Service. Whether these specific analytics technologies require cookie consent under applicable law depends on exactly how they operate and is confirmed as part of our ongoing legal review; this page will be updated with the outcome, and a consent mechanism will be added if one turns out to be required.
3. No other tracking
We do not use advertising cookies, social media tracking pixels, or third-party marketing trackers. We do not use browser local storage or session storage for tracking purposes.
4. Managing cookies
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking the authentication cookie will prevent you from staying logged in to the Service.
